Liability:

Shades of Blue island Getaways (Pty) Ltd is an independent agency representing one affiliated tour operator namely, Beachcomber Tours SA. Shades of Blue Island Getaways will transmit quotations and bookings to the supplier and endeavor to timeously secure all reservations and arrangements.

All documentation pertaining to the quotation and booking process are issued subject to the terms and conditions specified by the suppliers and, by accepting the documentation and/or by utilizing their services any person participating in any of these packages become contractually bound to the supplier thereof.

Shades of Blue Island Getaways will not be held liable for any loss, injury of, or damage to a person and/or your belongings whatsoever, you hereby indemnify Shades of Blue Island Getaways accordingly. Shades of Blue Island Getaways does not accept liability for any actions, errors or omissions on the part of any principal or third party and/or their agents, which may be prejudicial to you or result in loss in any way or form whatsoever.

Bookings:

“The booking” or “the reservation” refers to part or all of the travel arrangements for transportation, accommodation, and other linked travel services made on behalf of a client for whom we act as an agent. Any booking made by Shades of Blue Island Getaways constitutes a form of contract between you and the affiliated tour operator and is consequently subject to the terms of our and our tour operator’s conditions of agreement.

Unless full payment is due at time of making the booking, all bookings must be accompanied by the requested deposit, of which part or all hereof may be non-refunded. The deposit constitutes part of the booking conditions of the affiliated tour operator.

The booking prices quoted to you is based on fares, hotel prices, land costs and other relevant costs ruling at the date of our proposal. In the event of there being an increase in any of the arrangements, such variation shall be for your account on request from us, as shall any increase in the booking price arising from fluctuations in rate of exchange.

Cancellation:

Cancellation fees will apply as per the affiliated tour operator’s cancellation terms. It is the customers responsibility to read and understand all the Terms and Conditions in the documentation of the affiliated tour operator.

We undertake to provide the services required by you the customer, but in the event of cancellation of the booking, partially or in full, by the client, we reserve the right to retain the service fees.

Travel Insurance:

The Travel Insurance policy is between the affiliated Insurance Companies and the customer. Shades of Blue Island Getaways only facilitate the quotation process.

The the case of any loss, injury of, or damage to a person and/or your belongings, it is the customers responsibility to make direct contact with the Insurance Company.
